This summer, 21 students were named PILA fellows and will pursue projects associated with public interest organizations, legal services offices, social service agencies, public defender officers, nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies and tribal entities.
The university announced a $250,000 gift from 麻豆社区 Regent Blaine Tamaki and his wife, Preciosa Tamaki, to the School of Law to support efforts to increase diversity, provide students with greater access to mental health resources, and support the work of the Tribal Court Clinic.
