Âé¶¹ÉçÇø Law will host the 35th annual Indian Law Symposium on Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, featuring a full set of topics from panelists across the country. Programming includes the following sessions: Litigation Update; Federal Legislative Ethics — Cultural considerations for competent tribal legal representation; Tribes, Mining, and Opportunities for Reform of the 1872 Hardrock Mining Act, Center for Biological Diversity v. U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (9th Cir. 2022); the Indian Child Welfare Act, Past, Present & Future; and The Supreme Court — Recent Trends and the Future for Tribes.
The program will be held in a virtual format on Zoom. It is co-sponsored by the Washington Law Review and Native American Law Center.
Note: We will be requesting 6.25 CLE credits, 5.25 Law & Legal and 1.0 Ethics, from the Washington State Bar Association.
